Title: Would it hurt to get a tato on my shoulder?

Im thinking about getting a tato of my last name in chinese and im a lil fra

I was scared when I got mine back behind my right shoulder but amazingly it really didn't hurt that bad.  The first couple pokes is like Ohhhh, but then it's cake!  Go for it!

Of course it hurts - they stick a needle into you hundreds or thousands of times, depending on how elaborate your design is. Then it will continue to hurt for a couple of weeks as the skin heals.

There is no 'best' way, everybody has different methods that work for them and swear by them, but different things work for different people - I think if there was one overwhelmingly correct aftercare method we'd all know about it and use it by now and there would be no dispute over it. So it's just a matter of finding what works for you.

Use a mild antibacterial soap to gently clean the area twice a day. Apply A&D ointment the first day , and an unscented light lotion after that, I recommend Lubriderm unscented. Apply the lotion whenever  the tat is feeling dry.

That's not to say don't do it. But yes, it is going to hurt, and you are going to have to take care of the tat for it to settle in properly. If the place that does the work doesn't lay that out for you in advance and give you detailed instructions on how to care for it after the work is finished, go somewhere else.

i'm thinking if you can't spell tattoo, then your not old enough to get one.lol !!!
